FAQs
1. How long does the process take in Türkiye?
Processing times usually range between 5 to 10 working days after all documents have been verified, attested, and submitted to the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Ankara.
Delays may occur if documentation or MOFA details require clarification.
2. Can I apply for my spouse and children together?
Yes. You can submit a combined family application under one MOFA authorization if all supporting documents — such as marriage and birth certificates — are correctly attested and translated into Arabic.
3. What’s the difference between a Family Visit Visa and a Family Residence Visa?
A Family Visit Visa allows short-term visits of up to 90 days per entry, suitable for temporary stays.
A Family Residence Visa is for dependents joining a Saudi resident or citizen long-term, allowing them to live and remain in the Kingdom on an Iqama.
4. Do I need medical tests for a Family Visa?
Medical tests are only required for Family Residence Visas, not for short-term Family Visit Visas.
We’ll guide you on where and how to complete the required tests if applicable.
